Funko is an American company that manufactures licensed and limited pop culture collectibles ranging from vinyl figurines to bobbleheads. In addition, the company produces licensed plush, action figures, apparel, accessories and games.

As the in house photographer I had complete creative freedom when it came to photographing the product. I would start by researching the license and character, finding an image that I would use as inspiration to recreate with our vinyl figures in it. 

 

The example to the left shows a character from a video game, which I had to shoot in conjunction with the video team.  To create something a little fun and interactive during the video, I reconstructed the character selection screen which would highlight the characters name and shift in the background of the video when each character was displayed.
