​Seattle Bike Supply is an industry-leading distribution company, delivering excellent customer service, reliable delivery of product, and a world class B2B site.  They produce several different print and web catalogs each year along with add campaigns, clothing designs and rider sponsorships. 

When SBS brought me in, I was tasked with establishing a small photo studio with an equally small budget.  I claimed a space in the corner of the warehouse, which allowed me to have easy access to all products and also had high ceilings providing ample room for lighting options.  My job was to photograph all the pieces and products that make up a bicycle and all the fun accessories that go along with it.  I enjoyed the challenge of trying to find interesting ways to shoot wheels, tires, and handlebars in unique ways so that the designers could create compelling advertising and the photos could still be used in the parts catalog. 

I was also tasked with photographing some of the sponsored riders. Working to get great pictures of people who aren’t accustomed to being photographed was a great challenge.  I enjoyed getting the riders to relax and create a fun and inviting photo to be used in ad campaigns or pieces about the riders themselves.
